Increased Evening Patrols & Community Safety Update Finsbury Park & Harringay Ladder

Dear Residents,

The Harringay Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) would like to reassure you that additional funding has been secured to support extra officer overtime and resources. This allows us to carry out enhanced patrols later into the evening and night across Finsbury Park and the Harringay Ladder.

These proactive patrols are already having a positive impact. Officers have conducted multiple stop searches, issued ASB warnings, seized drugs, and detained a suspect during recent operations.

Our focus remains on reducing anti-social behaviour, tackling drug-related crime, and providing a visible and reassuring police presence in the areas and at the times residents have told us matter most.

🛑 Crime Prevention Advice

You can help protect yourself and your community by:

Remaining aware of your surroundings, especially during the evening

Using well-lit routes and avoiding secluded areas where possible

Keeping mobile phones and valuables out of sight

Ensuring doors, windows, and bikes are properly secured

Reporting suspicious behaviour or repeated ASB promptly

If a crime is in progress or someone is in immediate danger, please call 999.
